Using the Tools Menu
( V1.0 ) AtanThe D3Edit tools menu is able to hold up to 20 customizable entries for easy and quick access to your existing D3 Editing tools.
It is very useful to create a common directory for all your D3 tools first. So if you don't have one, I would suggest creating a new tools directory wherever you want now. First choice would be in your Descent directory.
Now follow the few steps below to create your own tools menu.
This picture is just an example how this tool list could looks like later on:

OK, if you haven't used this list yet, or you just started your copy of D3Edit for the first time, all entries are empty so choose D3Edit -> menu -> Customize to create your Tools menu:

Pressing the 'Add' Button generates a browser window which will allow you to search and select a tool. With 'Open' this tool will be added to the list. If you want, enter a different name for this tool and/or change the position in the list.
Choose all the tools you want, one by one, and close the Customize Dialog.

When using D3Edit now, you just need to select the tool you want inside D3Edit menu point 'Tools'.
Try it out.
