What is Descent?
Descent is a computer game in which you pilot a zero gravity craft. The premise is that an alien entity has created a virus that has infected the various mining robots in mines owned by the PTMC. The player starts as an employee of the PTMC, 'MD1032'. You have been assigned the task of destroying the rampant robots. And to insure that none of the virus escapes, you are instructed to destroy the central reactor. The resulting meltdown will destroy the mine completely, so you need to get out of the mine quick! See

Thanks to incessant spam, I have found it necessary to set the defaults for posting changes to a select group of users. (Let me know if you are a real member so I can add your name to the ACL.) So now the spammers have figured out how to spam the comment section... for now I have set that to registered users only. So sooner or later they will figure out how to register and then comment, and I'll have to do something else. There is one monkey wrench in the works, though... for many of the pages, I set the ACL for that individual page. Having done so, overrides the default settings, that are set in the config file. So if you are on the default ACL and can't edit a particular page, or leave a comment, it's most likely because the ACL for that page was set before the option to use the default list became available. Let me know what page and I will fix that page.
